Hardware.

FreeCORE does not take donations. It does take test hardware.

The lab

Every release is compared against TrueNAS® CORE 13.3 in virtual machines. The two physical machines below are being brought up.

physical
Dell R640, modern BMC, four 3.5-inch bays and two internal 2.5-inch. Needs rails, drive caddies and disks.
guests
Supermicro X9DRH-7TF in an SC826, twelve 3.5-inch bays. Needs drive trays and disks.

Results are on the Tests page. The lab still needs NVMe hardware.

How to offer

Write to hello@freecore.org with what it is and where it ships from. We answer yes or no and give a shipping address privately. Used equipment is welcome. Shipments from inside the EU are easier; import duty on anything else falls on us.

A gift buys no say in the project. It is credited here only if you want it to be.
